This fun, family comedy will be an uplifting holiday movie. A family that hasn’t gotten together in years only comes together as their Grandmother ask them to come to Thanksgiving, telling them she wants to give them the contents of her safe deposit box. All expecting they are going to get an inheritance early, they all go with her to the bank the day before thanksgiving. Unfortunately, a lonely robber with nothing to lose walks into the bank to rob it, thinking no other customers are there, as the family are all in the safe deposit room. The bumbling thief doesn’t get out of the bank before cops arrive, and it turns into a hostage situation. The family that always fought must learn to get along as they are all held hostage at the bank. Thanksgiving dinner is sent in to keep the robber calm, as everyone learns to forgive one another and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner as well as enjoy one another’s company– all while the family learns to give thanks for the lives they have.
